These two awards were presented to me by Safeway. The Presidents Award of Service Excellence is earned by consistently maintaining
a high level of service. Through a secret shopper system an employee must unknowingly take and pass a minimum of 18 out of
20 tests to earn this award. It took over two years and I got a perfect score of 20 out of 20. The award also included $500
in Safeway stock and was presented at an awards luncheon for regional high performers.
The Service Excellence award is basically the half way point to the Presidents Award of Service Excellence. It’s earned
by passing 10 out of 10 secret tests
